DerekBENTLEYPeacefully at rest on Wednesday 23rd April at The Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Derek aged 94 years of Basford. The devoted husband of Shirley. Treasured dad of Roger and a loving brother of the late Bessie.

Derek will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his family, friends and all that knew him.

Funeral service to be held at Wolstanton Methodist Church on Thursday 22nd May at 11am, followed by a private committal service at Bradwell Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations much appreciated to The Douglas Macmillan

On behalf of quite a number of ex Twyford employees including myself, I would just like to offer our sincere condolences to all family members. As seen from the numerous comments on our Facebook page, TWYFORDS OFFICE STAFF 1967 ONWARDS,,,,,,, it can clearly be seen just how well liked, respected and loved Derek was, and we are all sure that he will be missed by many. We all give thanks to Almighty God for the life of Derek Bentley, a good man who will be greatly missed but, also fondly remembered by many,,,,,,,,,
